Argan oil is so precious that it is simply called liquid gold. Just a few drops can work wonders in any beauty regimen and has been the beauty secret of Mediterranean women for years. Oleon, a newcomer in the beauty space needed their flagship product - pure, cold-pressed Moroccan argan oil to be celebrated for its benefits. The brand needed to embody modern luxurious skin and hair care.
Our job was to create a brand identity that combined the essence of argan oil with that of a modern cosmetics brand. The clean slender typography along with the drop-shaped ‘O’ gives a sense of purity to the logo. This extends to the packaging which highlights the luxury of argan oil through gold accents set against clean minimal typesetting. The new identity allowed Oleon to hold its own against the competition.
The argan oil packaging was designed to represent a premium cosmetics brand. The minimal modern design captures the pure and natural products that the brand celebrates. Metallic gold accents create a sense of luxury. As a whole, the packaging allows the product to gain the attention of a customer, seeking the finest ingredients in a high-quality product.
The logo needed to combine the essence of argan oil with that of a premium, modern cosmetics brand. Our designs needed to celebrate the purity, and luxuriousness of each precious drop of argan oil. Our early concept designs explored this combination to various degrees which eventually boiled down to a logo that captured the simple pure essence of the brand.
